Mesquite's golf courses and the homes on them
Wolf Creek is the course people travel to Mesquite to play. It's public, opened in 2000, and plays through red-rock ridges with dramatic elevation changes. Golf Digest ranks it among the best courses in Nevada. The Paradise Canyon area borders it, including the Classics condos.
The Oasis Golf Club runs two 18-hole courses: the Palmer, designed by Arnold Palmer, and the Canyons, which the club describes as Mesquite's only semi-private course. The Mesquite Vistas area surrounds them, with homes in Enchantment along the Palmer and Summerhills along the Canyons. Ventana, St Andrews and Pinnacle are also in this part of town.
Conestoga Golf Club is the course inside Sun City Mesquite, the Del Webb 55+ community. It was designed by Gary Panks, plays 7,204 yards from the back tees, and has been open to the public since 2010. Homes in Sun City neighborhoods such as Roaring Creek include some of the newest golf-course construction in town.
CasaBlanca, the resort course that hosts the Nevada Open, is lined by the gated Sunset Greens townhomes. The Palms is run alongside it by the same resort group. Falcon Ridge, a public course that opened in 2004 on the northwest side of town, is bordered by newer communities including The Reserve, a gated custom-home enclave. Coyote Willows is a 9-hole course on Hafen Lane.
On the course, a golf view, or a golf community
These are three different things, and they price differently. A home on the course backs directly onto a fairway or green and usually commands the highest price. A golf view home looks out over a course from across a street or from higher ground. A golf community home is inside a neighborhood with a course but may not see it at all.

Ask each course about annual passes and local rates, and check the HOA documents, because a few communities negotiate golf discounts for residents.
